Landowner and Community Engagement - Environment Agency

Since 2016, through a unique partnership project on the rivers Aire and Don in Yorkshire, we have been promoting awareness and education of invasive non-native species as well as working with riparian landowners with their statutory duty to manage invasive weeds on their land.

 The project to date has secured over £50k of investment from riparian landowners within the project area, and engaged over 300 stakeholders.
