Josh Beck

Josh joined River Stewardship Company at the beginning of 2018 to study a level 2 work-based diploma in Environmental Conservation, specialising in river and coastal flood risk management.

Josh works within the contract delivery team to deliver commercial projects but has also gained experience in community engagement through participating in volunteer days and events.

Since starting with us, Josh has gained a number of site based qualifications and hopes to complete his level 2 diploma in the New Year.

Voluntary River Stewards

Michael Taylor

Michael joined the company as a Voluntary River Steward in July 2017 as part of his university sandwich year placement. Michael is currently studying a BSc (Hons) in Geography at Sheffield Hallam and chose RSC to complete his work experience.

Since joining, he has achieved a certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work as well as his pesticide application tickets. After completing his placement with us, Michael is set to complete his degree and hopes to go on to achieve a Masters degree in either Geographical Information Systems or Hydrology.
