Sheffield Waterfront Festival

Festivals and events are a fantastic way to celebrate the cultural and natural heritage of a waterway and to inform, educate and connect local people to their local patch. We have hosted and co-hosted a number of festivals and events in Sheffield over the last 10 years.

River Stewardship Company has worked in partnership with the Canal and River Trust to host the Sheffield Waterfront Festival.

RSC had a stall engaging with families and spreading the word about responsible waterways management in South Yorkshire. This years event was a great success with attendees enjoying free paddle boarding and canoeing tasters, boat trips and guided walks.
