Emergency Tree Work - Leeds Flood Alleviation Scheme

Jul 27, 2022

After a period of strong winds, a number of trees had fallen into the River Aire in Kirkstall, Leeds in some cases causing an obstruction across the full width of the river channel. Shortly after picking these issues up, we were on site removing the windblown trees from the watercourse. One of the tree trunks will be retained near to the river bank and carved into a ‘lookout throne’ as part of a corporate volunteer day.
